Hi All,
Got few questions regarding RDS Cals migration and also moving RDS License server to another domain.
Lets start with License servers. I got three license server, two of those will be decommissioned. I would like to move the licenses to different servers.
I'm trying to migrate it from Migration Wizard, but problem is when i reach the License Program information, i dont have any of that info which been used to activate those licenses back in 2015. It was done by MSP and we cant find any information regarding it. Agreement #, Activation info. I dont even now what type of License Program we been used. (Each server contains 100 user CALS).
So is there any way of getting those licenses migrated to other servers without providing all these required info?
Second question is, can i move the existing RDS License server from one domain to another? Will it affect the RDS CALs to work on new domain ? (At this moment i have pointed TSs which are in other domain to these RDS Servers and they work fine).
Please advise.
