unable to access my MS 365 even though it shows subscription successful

I have bought a new iMac 5 days ago and I have subscribed for new MS365 but am unable to access any of the applications.

AppleCare could not assist me either even though they confirm my subscription purchase shows it is successful. They asked me to contact MS.

I tried updating my credit card details and it still shows there is an error. I have changed my credit card to another card.

When I click MS Word it shows click Free Trial option and it ask me to add my credit card information which I have done and yet when click MS Word it goes back to the same Free Trial option.

I have all the MS 365 apps in the app in the iMac doc

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with activating your Microsoft 365 subscription on your new iMac. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Your Account: Ensure that you are signed in with the correct account associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription. Sometimes, users may inadvertently sign in with a different account.
    2. Remove Office License Files: If there are any corrupted license files, removing them may help. You can follow the instructions on how to remove Office license files on a Mac.
    3. Update Microsoft 365: Make sure that your Microsoft 365 apps are updated. Open any Microsoft 365 app, go to File > Account, and check for updates under Update options.
    4. Sign Out and Sign Back In: Sometimes, signing out of your Microsoft account and signing back in can resolve activation issues. Open a Microsoft 365 app, select your name or profile picture, and choose Sign out. Then sign back in with your Work or School account.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue persists, it may be necessary to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance, especially since AppleCare was unable to resolve the issue.

If you continue to face problems, it might be helpful to check if there are any specific error messages that could provide more insight into the issue.
