Windows 11 25H2 van a gépemen. ( Asus ProArt P16). Ma eltünt a "Microsoft Wi-Fi Virtual Adapter" az eszközkezelőből, ezért nem tudom tükrözni a gépemről a filmeket a Tv-re. Valószínű hiányzik a driver. Mellékelem a képet is.

Köszönettel várok megoldást.Képernyőkép 2025-11-26 024945

    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this problem. The operating system makes the "Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter" a virtual device that lets you use Wi-Fi Direct capabilities like screen mirroring (Miracast) and Mobile Hotspot. It depends on the driver for your real Wi-Fi adapter.

Thanks for sending the picture. It proves that the "Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter" is not in the list of network adapters you have right now.

I just want to check on this and also some methods to fix this problem:

Have you looked to see if the adapter is just buried or turned off? You might try right-clicking the Start button, opening Device Manager, and then going to View > Show hidden devices. Then, you can look for the Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter, which should be shown with a number like #2. Have you tried right-clicking on it and choosing "Enable device" to see if it fixes the problem?

Did you attempt scanning for hardware changes if turning it on doesn't work? In Device Manager, click on the Network adapters category, then click on the Action menu and choose Scan for hardware changes. Does the virtual adapter come back after this?

You can also use this link for reference and fix.

I hope this helps you. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.

    Regards,

I see, Looks like we’re dealing with a stubborn Windows 11 problem, something deeper, maybe with system files or the services that handle your virtual network stuff. Since reinstalling drivers and resetting the system haven’t fixed it, let’s try a few more things before you go all-in with a Windows reinstall.

First, try repairing any broken system files. Right-click the Start button, pick Terminal (Admin), and run this command: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Wait until it’s done, then run sfc /scannow the same way. Let both commands finish completely, then restart your computer.

Next, check if the right background services are running. Hit Windows Key + R, type in services.msc, and make sure both WLAN AutoConfig and Peer Networking Grouping are set to Automatic and actually started. Finally, force Windows to rebuild its entire network stack. Open Terminal (Admin) again and run netcfg -d. This’ll restart your computer and rebuild all the network components from scratch.

Then finally, force Windows to rebuild its entire network stack. Open Terminal (Admin) again and run netcfg -d. This’ll restart your computer and rebuild all the network components from scratch.

Thank you for sharing. I get how frustrating this is, especially since the Services menu isn’t even in your language. Honestly, you’ve already done the right troubleshooting for your version of Windows 11, which tells me there’s probably a deeper system issue or maybe just a limitation with this 25H2 preview build.

Here’s what’s left that’s worth trying, some last configuration checks, the Hungarian service names you’ll need, and one more command-line test.

    1. Check and Enable the Right Services (Hungarian Names)

You’ve already found WLAN AutoConfig, so next up, look for these services in Hungarian: Csoportos hálózati együttműködés (Peer Networking Grouping), PnP-X IP Bus számláló or IPBusEnum (PnP-X IP Bus Enumerator), and Wi-Fi Direct szolgáltatások csatlakoztatási kezelője or WFDSConMgrSvc (Wi-Fi Direct Services Connection Manager). These need to be running, set to Automatic or at least Manual (Started), for Wi-Fi stuff to work right. If you see any of them stopped, start them up and set their "Startup type" (Indítási típus) to Automatic, then hit Start (Indít).

    1. Double-Check Hardware Support from the Command Line

Let’s make sure your Wi-Fi hardware even supports the “Hosted Network” feature that Miracast needs. Right-click the Start button, pick Terminal (Admin), and run netsh wlan show drivers. Check for the line Hosted network supported : Yes (in Hungarian: Üzemeltetett hálózat támogatása: Igen). If it says No, Windows just isn’t seeing that feature in your driver, even if you installed the Asus one. That’s why the virtual adapter is missing.

    1. One Last Push to Force the Adapter

If you got "Yes' (Igen) in Step 2, and you’ve got the right services running, try this final command. Open Terminal (Admin) and type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=TempNetwork key=Password123. If that works, open Device Manager, turn on "Show hidden devices," and see if the Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter pops up. Then try your screen-mirroring again.

Fingers crossed this does the trick.

    Dear Randy Baroja!

I found and configured "Wlan AutoConfig". (It didn't run!) I also configured "WFDSConMgrSvc (Wi-Fi Direct Services Connection Manager). (That didn't run either).

Unfortunately, I still can't find "Peer Networking Grouping", "PnP-X IP Bus Enumerator". That's why I thought I'd send you the entire "Services" table. I'm sure you'll find the points where you need to make the changes. Please mark where you need to change and then I can do it. (I can only send them one by one because there's a 3Mb limit)

You wrote to check the hardware support from the command line. I did that and unfortunately the result was not good. I received the message "Hosted network supported : NO". I am attaching this board as a picture.

Please don't be angry with me, I am not a software developer type, but with some guidance this problem might be solved. And by the way, I find this conversation very exciting.
