Hello,

After the VLSC Licensing Center was retired, my previous licenses did not appear in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Could you please advise where I can access or retrieve my old licenses?

Thank you.

    Dear @Bilgi İşlem,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. After the retirement of the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) in April 2024, all volume licensing management functions were migrated to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. If your previous licenses are not appearing, here are the steps to resolve this:

Step 1: Verify your volume licensing role

    • Access to migrated licenses requires a Volume Licensing (VL) role in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
    • If you do not have this role, please contact your organization’s VL Administrator to grant you the necessary permissions.

Step 2: Confirm the correct Sign-In account

    • Ensure you are signing in with the same Microsoft account (Entra ID) that was originally associated with your VLSC agreements.
    • If your account changed (e.g., moved from personal to organizational), you may need assistance from Microsoft Support to link the old licenses.

Step 3: Where to view your licenses

(Please note that if you are a user you will need to ask your global administrator to perform these steps)

    • Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Billing > Your Products   User's image
    • Select View Contracts to see your VL agreements, license summaries.

For more details, please refer to Microsoft’s official documentation View volume licensing contracts in the Microsoft 365 admin center | Microsoft Learn

Step 4: If licenses still do not appear

    • Use Help & Support in the Admin Center to submit a case.
    • Alternatively, contact Microsoft Volume Licensing Support and provide: Your license ID or agreement number, associated email address, organization details

For more details, please refer to Microsoft’s official documentation Manage volume licensing agreements | Microsoft Learn

Licenses are tied to the original VLSC account and VL roles. If these roles or identities were not migrated correctly, licenses may not display until permissions are updated.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or if the problem persists after trying these solutions. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
