It sounds like you might be experiencing issues with your USB dock and SD card after the accidental drop. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot:

    1. Check Physical Damage: Inspect the USB dock for any visible signs of damage. If it seems damaged, it might need to be replaced.
    2. Reconnect the Dock: Disconnect the USB dock from your computer and reconnect it. Sometimes a simple reconnection can resolve connectivity issues.
    3. Try a Different USB Port: If your dock is connected to a USB port, try using a different port on your computer to see if that resolves the issue.
    4. Accessing the SD Card: For the SD card issue, ensure that the dock supports SD card access. If it does, try reinserting the card or using a different card reader if available.
    5. Check for Driver Issues: Make sure that your USB drivers are up to date. You can check this in the Device Manager on your Windows system.
    6. Use Another Device: If possible, test the USB dock and SD card with another computer to determine if the issue is with the dock or the computer itself.

If the problem persists, it may be necessary to consider replacing the dock or seeking professional assistance.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

To check whether the issue is with the dock or with Windows, please try connecting the dock to another computer and see if it is detected.

If the dock is still not detected on another device, it’s likely that the dock was damaged internally when it was dropped. In that case, we recommend using a different dock from a reliable brand so you can continue using your USB devices and SD card without any issues.

If your father has the same model of dock, you can try connecting his dock to your device to check whether it is detected.

If you don’t have another computer available to test the dock, you can try using a new dock and check if it is detected on your device. If the new dock works, then the issue is likely with your original dock.
