I purchased a $50 ZillowGift Card. I chose the $50 XBox and had it sent to my email. When I opened the email so I could print the "gift card" to give my grandson as a Christmas gift it said the gift card has been redeemed.

Will he beable to use this for his Xbox games?

    Hi Carla Horton-Davis,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand how frustrating it can be when the purchased gift card shows as redeemed before you’ve had the chance to use it, especially when it’s meant to be a special gift for your grandson.

Here are a few steps you can try:

    • Sometimes “redeemed” means the card was activated, but the code is still valid. Check the email carefully and look for the actual redemption code in the email.
    • Sign in at https://redeem.microsoft.com to see if the balance may have been accidentally linked to your account instead.
    • If the code truly shows as redeemed and you didn’t use it, please reach out to the place where you purchased the card or contact Xbox support team with the gift card details and proof of purchase so they can assist you further with a replacement or refund.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions. I’m happy to help.
