Screen resolution is wonky after changing to windows 11

I've tried adjusting the settings on the screen resolution and text size, but ever since I changed over to windows 11 yesterday, it seems I either have to choose between the font size being tiny on most applications, or features like the calendar pop-up being unusable. Using the "recommended settings" (1920x1080 at %150) my calendar display looks like this: calendar snip

with the obnoxious notifications box smushing the calendar down so it only shows 3 weeks. This also causes problems in firefox and other apps simply being too enlarged to see all the features. If I reduce the scale, the calendar is usable, but that makes the font unreadably tiny in certain places. Adjusting the font size helps, but when I try to run certain games, it won't run fullscreen, no matter how I adjust the settings in the game. It will only display as full screen if I use the recommended settings. Here's a screenshot of one game using the settings that make the calendar, firefox, etc usable (1920x1080 at %100, with font scaled up to %175) no fullscreen snip

I checked the drivers and everything is up to date.

What is the fix here?

    Hi ,

We'll use DDU to remove all AMD and Nvidia drivers.

    You can use DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/

Note: DDU is a third-party application to completely delete and reinstall the GPU driver.

    1. After downloading, extract ddu to a folder.
    2. Run the driver screen uninstaller.exe application, select Model tab, put GPU. After uninstalling the GPU Driver, uninstall it for AMD and Nvidia.
    3. Click on the First option clean and reboot and wait for the process to finish.
    4. After running DDU and install driver :

    https://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/581.80/581.80-notebook-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql.exe

Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Then perform a clean boot and if you want to uninstall applications that you do not use.

After installing the drivers above, access the Nvidia control panel > manage 3D settings > Auto select change to High process nvidia.

    Hi ,

If it is a laptop or desktop, if possible, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

To see the model, you can type msinfo32.exe in the Windows search bar, open the search for the baseboard product and enter it here.

    Thanks
