Set today's date in the calendar to a solid color

I have seen numerous people asking for this for years now, yet Microsoft doesn't seem to address it actually.

Is it really such a massive challenge for Microsoft to make the calendar BOX for TODAY show up as a solid color, where the color is selectable by the user?

It really doesn't seem like a big ask to incorporate that simple feature in an upcoming update, and would clearly make so many people happy, and frankly not feel that asking Microsoft to make such a change is just going to be completely ignored.

When people feel ignored, they tend to look for alternatives...food for thought...

Please can you (Microsoft) advise when this change will be executed?

    Thank you very much for sharing your experience and suggestion regarding highlighting the “Today” box in Outlook Calendar. I truly appreciate the time you took to explain how this feature could improve usability and make the calendar more intuitive. 

    I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused by the current design. At present, Outlook does not offer a built-in option to fill the entire “Today” box with a solid color that users can customize, and Microsoft has not announced a timeline for implementing this feature. I completely understand how helpful this would be for quickly identifying the current day and enhancing the overall user experience. 

    As a forum moderator, I hope you understand that I don’t have the ability to modify or escalate product issues directly. However, I strongly recommend submitting your feedback through the Outlook · Community portal. This is the most effective way to ensure your voice reaches the product team and can be considered for future improvements.
