If you are unable to verify your account because the verification email is sent to an old email address that is no longer in service, here are some steps you can take:

    1. Contact Support: Since you are dealing with an obsolete email, the best course of action is to contact Microsoft support directly. They can assist you in recovering your account and updating your email address.
    2. Provide Identification: When you contact support, be prepared to provide identification or any other information that can verify your identity. This may include recent emails or personal data that you have already submitted.
    3. Check Recovery Options: If you have set up any recovery options (like a phone number or alternate email), try using those to regain access to your account.
    4. Use Security Information: If your account has security information set up, you may be able to reset your password using that information. Check if your global admin has enabled this feature.
    5. Follow Up: If you have already submitted a request or used the helper tool, make sure to follow up on that request if you do not receive a timely response.

These steps should help you in verifying your identity and regaining access to your account.

    Hi denzilfh02,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how stressful that can be when you’re locked out and the recovery email is no longer active. The issue happens because the account still lists that old Tesco.net address as the primary verification method, so the system defaults to it.

Since you’ve already tried the recovery form and provided recent info, the next step is to make sure you’re using the official account recovery page and include as many accurate details as possible, like old passwords, recent subject lines from emails you’ve sent, and any linked services.

If you have a device where you were signed in before, try accessing from there. It can help confirm your identity.

Do you still have access to any security info like a phone number or an alternate email linked to the account? Or have you ever set up two-step verification? That could open another way to verify.

    Regards,

    Rez
