Hello

Logging into Office.com this morning and the admin menu has completely gone.

If I have a link to particular admin pages I can still get to them, but the admin menu has gone overnight. How do I get it back please.
Nothing on Microsoft status, nothing in the health centre in admin. Nothing in messages in plain English that says we are removing the admin menu.

Where has it gone and how do I get it back please.

Thank you.

If this is an organization (business, education) environment, you would usually want to sign in at https://admin.microsoft.com to see all options. If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, using an in private (incognito) window often helps.

    Hi Heather,

This is a layout change, not a removal. Office.com now takes you to the new Microsoft 365 home and the Admin entry can get unpinned.

To bring it back, sign in at microsoft365.com with your admin account, open the app launcher or the Apps button on the left, choose All apps, find Admin, open its three dot menu, pick Pin to launcher, then refresh the page. The Admin menu should reappear for you on the left rail and in the launcher.

If the admin menu has disappeared from Office.com, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Admin Permissions: Ensure that you are logged in with an account that has admin permissions. If you do not have the necessary permissions, the admin menu will not be visible.
    2. Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, browser cache issues can cause display problems. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then log in again.
    3. Try a Different Browser: If clearing the cache does not work, try accessing Office.com using a different web browser to see if the issue persists.
    4. Check for Updates: Occasionally, Microsoft may roll out updates that temporarily affect the interface. Check if there are any updates or changes announced in the Message Center or Service Health page in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    5. Access Admin Center Directly: If you have links to specific admin pages, you can continue to access them directly while troubleshooting the menu issue.

If the problem continues, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
