Every time I want to comment on a story I have to restart Edge browser, which is the only browser I use. I have gone through all the suggested steps to make sure I am signed in, which I am. The problem begins when I want to comment on a story and a dialog box pops up stating that I must be signed into Edge browser. At which point I restart Edge and it works like there is no problem. This happens every day, sometimes more often. Is there a fix?

What’s happening is that Edge uses your browser profile to confirm you’re signed in, and sometimes that session token doesn’t refresh properly when you try to comment.

Restarting clears that glitch, which is why it works afterward.

Let’s try a few quick checks: first, open Edge settings and make sure you’re signed in under Profiles, and that sync is turned on.

Next, check if “Clear cookies on close” is disabled under privacy settings, because that can wipe your login each time.

Also, update Edge to the latest version, older builds had this bug.

If it still happens, we might need to clear cached data or reset the profile.

Mostly content that is on MSN. Could be CNN, Newsweek, Politico, etc., but from the msn home page. I have done all the other steps multiple times and same result. I just reinstalled edge today and so far, just like the restart. We will see.

This happens every time I want to comment on a story. It can be from any number of different news sources. CNN, the Hill, Politico, Newsweek, etc. I have performed all the above steps and reinstalled Edge. One and done. I can only restart Edge.
