Hello. I need to speak with a live person at Microsoft to help resolve a very confusing matter. We believe that we changed our annual subscription payment method in 2024 to another account (either Bank or another credit card payment).

We received an e-mail from our older card, which we don't use any longer, at Bank of America letting us know that they needed payment of $105 posted this past August of 2025 for John Dooley's Microsoft Office annual subscription package.

Our online account under ******@gmail.com does not show any current Microsoft Office annual subscription or payments set up. We are now in collections with Bank of America with numerous fees and interest payment due related to your $105 charge this past August of 2025 to an old credit card.

Can someone please contact us at 312-203-6170 or 312-504-5766 so we may confirm our current Office package subscription and annual payment method? Thank you.

To verify your current Windows 365 Office annual subscription and resolve the billing issue, you will need to contact Microsoft support directly. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center: If you have admin access, visit the admin center at https://admin.cloud.microsoft.
    2. Help & Support: On the bottom right side of the page, select Help & support.
    3. Type Your Question: Enter a question or keyword related to your subscription issue. If the results don’t help, select Contact Support at the bottom.
    4. Provide Details: Enter a description of your issue and confirm your contact information. You can choose your preferred contact method to get in touch with a support representative.

If you do not have admin access, you may need to use the general support page for Microsoft 365. You can find additional support options and contact methods there.

Please note that you should be prepared to verify your identity and account details when contacting support.

Hi John and Colleen, I understand how confusing this situation can be, so let’s break it down together.

The charge likely happened because the Microsoft 365 subscription is still linked to the old Bank of America card, even though you thought the payment method was updated.

When the system couldn’t process the payment on the new method, it defaulted to the previous card on file.

First, please sign in at http://account.microsoft.com/services using any email addresses you’ve used with Microsoft and check if the subscription shows under Services & Subscriptions.

If nothing appears, try checking Order History under Payment & Billing.

If you still don’t see the subscription, it may be tied to a different account.

Can you confirm if you’ve ever used another Microsoft account for this subscription?

Also, do you have the last four digits of the old card handy?

That will help Microsoft Support trace the billing record.

Once we know which account holds the subscription, we can update the payment method or cancel it to stop future charges.

    Regards,
    Aron
