Hi,
Sorry you’re having trouble with Outlook. If you can send emails but can’t get any new ones on your Mac, chances are something’s off with your incoming mail settings, maybe there’s a glitch in the app, or your mailbox might be too full.
Start with the basics. Make sure Outlook isn’t stuck in “Work Offline” mode. Check your Junk folder, and look over any rules you’ve set up, they might be moving your mail around without you realizing. Also, log in to your webmail and see if your mailbox is full. If it is, clear out some old emails or big attachments.
Still nothing? Try clearing the Outlook cache. Just right-click the folder that isn’t updating, go to Properties, and hit Empty Cache. This gets Outlook to re-sync with the mail server. Updating both Outlook and your Mac can help, too, old software sometimes messes with syncing. In Outlook, go to Help and pick Check for Updates. On your Mac, head to System Settings, then General, and tap Software Update.
