To unblock your Microsoft Access file, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Trust Center Settings: Open Microsoft Access, create a new blank document, then go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings. From there, navigate to File Block Settings and ensure that the file type you are trying to open is not blocked. Uncheck the corresponding box if it is checked.
    2. Remove Mark of the Web: If the file was downloaded from the internet, it might have a Mark of the Web that blocks macros. To remove this, right-click on the file, select Properties, and look for an Unblock checkbox on the General tab. If it is not visible, you may need to use PowerShell to unblock the file using the Unblock-File cmdlet.
    3. Digital Signature Issues: If your Access file is digitally signed and you are receiving a message about the digital signature being tampered with, ensure that the file is opened from a trusted location. If it is not, you may need to move it to a trusted folder or adjust your Trust Center settings to allow access to files from that location.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking with your IT administrator for further assistance, especially if Group Policy settings are involved.

    Dear Hennry Yeoh
Thank you for reaching out via the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I’d like to clarify a few things to help you resolve the issue:

1> When you open the Access file, do you see a yellow notification bar like this?

    User's image

If yes, what happens when you click Enable Content?

2> If you don’t see that notification bar, you may need to adjust the Trust Center settings:

    Open a blank Access database.

Go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings.

Configure the settings as shown in the screenshots I’ll provide.

Additionally, please add the folder where you downloaded the file as a Trusted Location.

Make sure to tick Subfolders of this location are also trusted.

Once all settings are complete, please try reopening the blocked file.

If the issue persists, please upload the file to OneDrive and send me a screenshot of the notification that says the file is blocked via private message, so I can investigate further.

    Looking forward to your update!
