Import pdf to PowerPoint

Question

Cloudflare down, second within a month, my Canva project is gone and the h that I have to present tomorrow.

I was downloaded my Canva project 3 days ago, now I want to edit it temporary for my present day. But I dont know how to import the Canva into PowerPoint app, my Canva saved file is the PDF, my Office is PPT 2021, full copyright

I understand how inconvenient this situation can be, especially when you only have a PDF version of your design and need to make edits in PowerPoint. 

Based on my research, PowerPoint for Mac can insert a PDF as an image or an object, but it cannot convert a PDF into an editable PPTX file. Because of this, the content inside the PDF may not open in a way that allows direct editing. 

You might consider converting the PDF to PPTX using an external tool such as Adobe’s PDF-to-PowerPoint converter. After the conversion is complete, you can download the PPTX file and open it in PowerPoint to make your edits.

To import a PDF into PowerPoint, you can follow these steps:

1. Convert PDF to Images: Since PowerPoint does not directly support importing PDF files, you can convert each page of your PDF into image files (JPEG or PNG). You can use online converters or software that allows you to export PDF pages as images.
2. Insert Images into PowerPoint: Open your PowerPoint presentation and go to the slide where you want to add the images. Use the Insert tab, select Pictures, and then choose This Device to upload the images you created from the PDF.
3. Adjust the Images: Once the images are inserted, you can resize and position them as needed within your slides.

Alternatively, if you have access to Adobe Acrobat, you can use it to export the PDF directly to PowerPoint format, which might preserve the layout better than converting to images.

Since you mentioned that you are using PowerPoint 2021, this method should work effectively for your needs.
