Hello I am one of the 168 folks who have had this issue. I followed the instructions of deleting the file and allowing one drive to recreate it. Like MANY of the people this DID NOT help at all. I also tried to contact support, but in almost a week of business days I have had zero replies. Please help. This is a very annoying issue to have. Especially when there is no viable solution available. Every forum says the same thing about deleting it and letting it redo itself.

    Hi there,

I understand how frustrating this must be. Since deleting the file didn’t help, the next steps you can try are:

    Reset OneDrive completely:

Press Win + R, type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset, and hit Enter.

Check for updates: Make sure Windows and OneDrive are fully updated.

Reinstall OneDrive: Uninstall OneDrive, then download the latest version from Microsoft and reinstall.

Check logs and permissions: Ensure there are no folder permission issues blocking OneDrive from recreating files.

If these steps don’t work, you may need to escalate directly to Microsoft support for a case number so they can provide a solution beyond the usual fixes.
