I've been facing Kernel 41 crashes randomly for sometime but I could not find any solution. Unfortunately, there is no minidump file.

Also if it crashes, I cant really boot the computer. In Windows booting spinning screen, it spins little bit then freezes, even it does during Recovery screen as well. I have to spend 30mins to get it through that stage. I am using Asus Zephyrus Duo 15, I've updated my GPU, Chipset and BIOS all other drives as well latest versions.

The Kernel Power Event ID 41 indicates that your system has rebooted without a clean shutdown, which can happen due to various reasons such as hardware issues, power supply problems, or driver conflicts. Since you mentioned that there is no minidump file and that the computer freezes during boot, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Check Hardware Connections: Ensure that all hardware components, including RAM, GPU, and power supply connections, are secure. Loose connections can lead to instability.
    2. Power Supply: A failing power supply can cause random reboots. If possible, test with a different power supply to rule this out.
    3. Overheating: Monitor the temperatures of your CPU and GPU. Overheating can lead to crashes. Ensure that the cooling system is functioning properly and that there is no dust buildup.
    4. BIOS Settings: Reset your BIOS to default settings. Sometimes incorrect BIOS settings can lead to instability.
    5. Driver Conflicts: Since you've updated your GPU and chipset drivers, ensure that all drivers are compatible with your current version of Windows. You may also want to roll back to previous versions if the issues started after an update.
    6. Windows Recovery Options: If you can access the recovery options, try performing a startup repair or restoring the system to a previous restore point if available.
    7. Event Viewer: Continue to monitor the Event Viewer for any additional errors or warnings that may provide more context about the crashes.

If the problem persists after these steps, consider seeking professional technical support as it may indicate a more serious hardware issue.

    Hi ,

If it also occurs when Windows starts up, it could be hardware.

As it is a laptop I strongly recommend activating the warranty.

Give feedback if the information was useful or not.

    Thanks
