I thought my subscription covered 3 devices. But I keep getting a message to buy a subscription on a second computer. I don't know why I ended up on Microsoft, I was trying to access Malwarebytes.

It seems like you might be encountering an issue with your Microsoft 365 subscription. If your subscription is supposed to cover multiple devices but you're receiving prompts to purchase a new subscription on a second computer, it could be due to a few reasons:

    1. Subscription Type: Ensure that your subscription indeed allows for multiple devices. Some subscriptions may have limitations on the number of devices.
    2. Activation Issues: There might be issues with the activation of your subscription on the second device. Make sure that you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that has the subscription.
    3. License Assignment: If you are using a business account, check if the necessary licenses are assigned to your user account for the second device.

If you continue to experience issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance. They can help you troubleshoot the problem and clarify your subscription details.

Check your purchase history in the windows Store or your Microsoft account online.

Do you know what the subscription prompt is for?

Were you trying to buy Malwarebytes after using a trial?
