I have no sound on my laptop - running Windows 11. When I go to check output, the speaker shows up but says it's disabled & the "allow" button is grayed out. How do I fix this issue?

Press Windows key + R and type mmsys.cpl
See if any sound device appears and which one is set as default.

Also click on the start menu and type msinfo32
    Open System Information

Take a screenshot and upload it here, this will help find the audio driver for your system model

Open Device Manager, and make sure you've audio drivers installed and right click on it, select Enable device.

You can also visit your device manufacturer's website to download audio drivers for your system model, if they're missing.

Try updating audio drivers to latest version.

Or if you've already updated them, try to roll back previous version to see if that works.

Run Playing Audio troubleshooter from Settings app > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Let us know what it reports back.
