Good day, respected community. My question is not simple, but I won't be able to figure it out without your help. Could you please help me?
The company I work for wanted to purchase the licensed product Microsoft Office LTSC Standard DG7GMGF0PN5D:0002 with this specific part number. We found a supplier who offered activation keys cheaper than official sellers. A contract has not yet been signed with them. The supplier provided MAK/KMS keys electronically via email for testing purposes.
We had doubts about their authenticity. We would like to know the correct procedure for how these keys should be delivered. The first thing I assume is that since this is a corporate license (we wanted to buy 48 licenses), it should be supplied through the CSP channel and we should receive a tenant link.
We managed to find out through Microsoft Anti-Piracy that this key was originally purchased for China, and the supplier is trying to sell it in Kazakhstan. The supplier, however, states that as a Microsoft partner, they have the right to offer us these keys and that we should accept that this complies with all the licensing rules for this product.
Please advise if the supplier is deceiving us?
