Every single time I re-open Bing (using Chrome as a browser I have to reset All my Settings in Bing search engine. For example, these settings are settings that I turn OFF because I do not want to see news/interests or the menu bar: Yet, every time I open it up, the settings have been changed and those things are showing and Bing has checked those boxes again!

This happens whether I am logged in my microsoft account or not, doesn't matter.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your Bing settings not being saved in Chrome. This could be due to a few reasons:

    1. Browser Settings: Ensure that your Chrome settings are configured to allow cookies and site data. If cookies are blocked, Bing may not be able to save your preferences.
    2. Browser Extensions: Sometimes, browser extensions can interfere with how websites save settings. Try disabling any extensions to see if that resolves the issue.
    3. Account Sync: If you are logged into your Microsoft account, check if there are any sync settings that might be overriding your preferences.
    4. Cache and Cookies: Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes, corrupted data can cause issues with settings not being saved.
    5. Incognito Mode: If you are using Chrome in incognito mode, remember that settings will not be saved after you close the window.

If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance, as it may be a specific issue with your account or Bing settings.

    Hello,

I'm so sorry about the problem you're having. In addition to the basic steps for your browser and account, you might also want to try these advanced ones.

If you reset Chrome to its default settings, it might help. This will fix problems caused by misconfigurations or minor profile corruption by restoring your startup pages, search engine, and tabs while removing extensions and erasing temporary data. You can also try making a new Chrome user profile to see whether the problem is with the profile itself. Just add a new person from the profile menu and see if the Bing settings save successfully there. If the problem keeps happening, you might want to conduct a full scan to look for conflicting software or malware and check your antivirus or firewall settings to make sure nothing is stopping Chrome or bing.com from working.

I hope this helps. If you have questions, please leave a comment.

    Thanks,
