We have added our company domain to Azure AD (entra). We used to have our users create a microsoft account with our @companyemail.com to sign in to their laptops so we could reset their password if they left the company and gain access back to the laptop. Now after adding our domain to Azure Entra the microsoft account signup page says "You can't sign up with a work or school email. Use your personal email instead.". When we try to sign in with their @companyemail.com address it says "We couldn't find a Microsoft account. Try entering your details again, or create an account." How can we have our users sign in to Microsoft services using Azure AD (entra)? Additionally, when we try to sign in with a 'work or school account' on the device it says the Microsoft account doesn't exist.

    Hi,

You can’t create personal Microsoft accounts with your company domain anymore because it’s now managed by Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID). The correct way forward is to use work or school accounts from Azure AD for sign-in, join devices to Azure AD, and enable password reset and licensing through the Microsoft 365 admin center. This ensures secure access and proper management under your organization’s domain.

    I hope this helps!
