    Hi,

Bottom line: The System Interface Foundation V2 Device error (Code 31) means Windows cannot load the required driver for this system component. It’s usually caused by a missing or corrupted Intel or OEM system driver.

    What I suggest is:

Installing all Windows Updates (including optional driver updates).

Downloading the correct chipset/system interface driver from your device manufacturer or Intel.

Using Intel Driver & Support Assistant for automatic detection.

Reinstalling the driver via Device Manager or updating BIOS/chipset drivers if needed.

If you share your device model and Windows version, I can give you direct download links for the exact driver. Let me know how it goes, I’m Here to help!

The System Interface Foundation V2 device is usually a specific hardware component to Lenovo laptops and PC's, if you have a Lenovo system, download the Lenovo Service Bridge utility and use utility that to update all your drivers.
