I had to upgrade my motherboard recently and I can't activate my digital Windows pro license. I ran the troubleshooter but it couldn't help. I tried contacting support but it keeps redirecting me to articles. How can I activate my windows digital license?

Hi! Sorry to hear you’re running into this, when you run the Activation troubleshooter (Settings > System > Activation > Troubleshoot), what exact message or error code does it show? If you recently replaced major hardware (especially the motherboard), make sure you select “I changed hardware on this device recently” in the troubleshooter and then sign in with the same Microsoft account linked to your digital license so Windows can re-associate the license to this device

hi Thank you for coming back to me the message I'm getting is:

After I choose I changed hardware on this device recently

    Unable to activate Windows

We can’t reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later.
