Account recovery for my elderly father

Question

My father is trying to log in to his Hotmail account. He recently retired and doesn't have access to his work phone, which is linked to his account. We tried to recover his account using old password, using recent email subject lines and emails sent but hotmail keeps rejecting this and the account is now locked.

He has filled the form correctly with correct details but still it is not being accepted by hotmail

This is so frustrating for him. Is there a way to contact support and help him?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to recover access to your account without filling a form with as many data as possible. Microsoft needs many enough information to confidently match you and your account.

Please strain your memory and give as much data as possible. Many scammers try to hack someone else's account so Microsoft just cannot take anyone at their word.
