When using PowerMailchimp plugin in Dynamics, is a report generated in Mailchimp after you've sent out a campaign?

I am referring to an instance where you have created an eDM TEMPLATE in Mailchimp and you transfer it over to Dynamics using the PowerMailchimp plugin. Once you've sent the campaign via Dynamics, is a campaign generated in Mailchimp as well? Do they feed into each other? I want to know because I believe the reporting in Mailchimp is better than what is generated in Dynamics.
