It seems like you are experiencing a login issue where your account is being redirected to a child account login. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

    1. Check Account Settings: Ensure that your account is not set up as a child account. You can do this by checking your account settings on the Microsoft account website or the platform you are trying to access.
    2. Sign Out and Clear Cache: Sign out of all accounts and clear your browser's cache and cookies. This can help reset any session issues that may be causing the login loop.
    3. Use Private Browsing: Try logging in using a private or incognito browsing window. This can help bypass any cached credentials that might be causing the issue.
    4. Reset Password: If you suspect that your account settings might have been altered without your knowledge, consider resetting your password to regain control of your account.
    5. Contact Support: If the issue persists, you may need to contact the support team for the specific service you are trying to access (e.g., Microsoft or Minecraft support) for further assistance.

These steps should help you troubleshoot the login problem you're facing. If you need more specific guidance, please provide additional details about the service you are trying to access.

    Hi Bluss,

What you are experiencing is a Microsoft family account enforcement issue, and the looping behavior you describe is exactly what happens when an account is classified as a child account inside a Microsoft Family group, even if you do not remember setting it up that way. Once an account is marked as a child, Microsoft services (including Minecraft, Xbox, and account.microsoft.com) will force authentication through the family structure, which is why you are repeatedly redirected and cannot switch accounts.

This usually happens for one of three reasons: the account was created when the birthdate indicated the user was under the age threshold, the account was added to a Microsoft Family group at some point (even years ago), or another account was designated as the “parent/organizer” and your account became the child by default. Once this state exists, signing in to Minecraft or Microsoft services will automatically redirect you to the child account flow and ignore attempts to sign in with a different account.

To resolve this, the account must be removed from the Microsoft Family group or converted to an adult account, which cannot be done from the child account itself. You must sign in to the parent/organizer account at account.microsoft.com/family, locate your account under family members, and either remove it from the family or change its permissions. If you no longer have access to the organizer account, this is why the loop feels “unbreakable.”

If you are now over the age of majority for your region, you can also resolve this by updating the birthdate on the account (if allowed) or by using Microsoft’s account age verification process, after which the account can leave the family group automatically. Until that happens, Minecraft will continue to force sign-in through the child account and will not allow alternate accounts.

    Hi,

Once a child account has already been added to a family group, it cannot be added to another family group or managed by another adult account unless it has been removed on where it was originally added to.
