The error message "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" indicates that the multimedia audio controller on your PC does not have the necessary drivers installed. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Visit the Manufacturer's Website: Go to the website of the manufacturer of your Bosgame E3 mini PC and look for the most recent audio drivers specific to your model. Download and install them.
    2. Use Device Manager:
      • Open Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start menu and selecting it from the list.
      • Locate the multimedia audio controller, right-click on it, and select "Update Driver". You can choose to search automatically for updated driver software.
    3. Install Windows Updates: Ensure that your Windows is fully updated, as sometimes driver updates are included in Windows updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
    4. Reinstall the Driver: If the driver is already installed but still showing Code 28, you can try uninstalling it:
      • Right-click on the multimedia audio controller in Device Manager and select "Uninstall".
      • Restart your computer, and Windows should attempt to reinstall the driver automatically.
    5. Check for Compatibility: Make sure that the driver you are trying to install is compatible with your version of Windows.

If none of these steps work, you may need to consult the user guide for your device or seek assistance from a knowledgeable friend or technician.

The best first option is to go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and manually reinstall the HD Audio drivers, you also need to manually re-install the Graphics drivers, because they provide the audio drivers used by the HDMI connection on a monitor.

If you are still unable to get audio through the HDMI connection, on the back of your monitor is a label, what is the make and model number of your monitor?
