    Hi David,

Thank you for getting in contact.

Sorry to hear that you're having a problem. If Read Aloud stops or stalls at the end of paragraphs in Microsoft Word, you can fix the problem by doing the following.

First, check sure Word is up to date by heading to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now. This will fix the problem of Word freezing with Read Aloud. If Word still freezes, try running it in Safe Mode (click Win + R, type winword /safe, then push Enter). This will help you find out if an add-in is to blame. If it works in Safe Mode, go to File > Options > Add-ins, choose COM Add-ins, click Go, and then uncheck all the boxes before restarting. If the problems keep happening, use the Microsoft Office Repair Tool to fix Word by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features, right-clicking Office, and choosing Change > Online Repair.

If you have questions, you can leave a comment.

    Thanks,
