I have just been charged a second time for a subscription renewed on Oct. 12, 2025, renewable Oct. 13, 2026. Where is customer service? Thanks.

    Hi,

Please note that here in the Microsoft Q&A forum, we are fellow users and do not have account access.

Is this a personal subscription or Microsoft 365 Business?

If personal, please log in to your Microsoft account and go to Services & Subscriptions. Do you see the double charges there, and do they have the same description and amount?

If it’s a monthly payment, can you also check if a payment was made last month?

If there wasn’t enough money in your account last month, Microsoft will keep trying to take the payment. That’s why the missed payment and the next one might happen close together and look like a double charge.

See 'I've been charged twice': https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/i-ve-been-charged-twice-1370f860-c080-419a-8e77-a983389743a5

Thank you but none of the suggestions work. This is in regard to a personal MS 365 account. I paid the renewal on Oct, 12, 2025. It is now renewable on Oct. 13, 2026 (next year). My credit card account has a record of the Oct. 2025 charge and a new charge for the same amount on Dec. 22, 2025. I have disputed the charge, and my bank will handle it from there. I do not have another account name (except via my university, and my university account has not been used in the past two years).

Otherwise, the December 22, 2025 MS 36 charge on my credit card does NOT appear on my MS account, even after I investigate with the card number. So this is a MS charge that posted to my credit card account with no MS record.
