I'm trying to pair and then connect headphone to my desktop pc running windows 11. I tried with Bluetooth and need not succseed. then I turne bluetooth off and used audio cable (AUX) and this did not work either. I tried using usb port to connect nope does not work. My headphones working with phone (mobile) ok. I had conversion with Micosoft Support but unfortunately they too could not help so I need your help out there please. The speakers on my pc working fine. Is there a way to check that my port could have a fault. How do you check the port?

To troubleshoot the issue of connecting your headphones to your Windows 11 desktop PC, you can follow these steps:

    1. Bluetooth Connection:
      • Ensure that your headphones are in pairing mode. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions on how to make your headphones discoverable.
      • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and ensure Bluetooth is turned on. If your headphones appear in the list, try to pair them again.
      • If you have Swift Pair enabled, you may see a notification to pair your device when it enters pairing mode.
      • If you still cannot connect, try removing the device from the list and re-pairing it.
    2. Audio Cable (AUX):
      • Make sure you are plugging the AUX cable into the correct port. It should be the headphone jack on your PC. If you have multiple audio ports, try different ones to see if any work.
      • Check if the headphones are fully inserted into the port. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause issues.
    3. USB Connection:
      • If your headphones support USB connection, ensure you are using a compatible USB port. Try different USB ports on your PC to rule out a faulty port.
    4. Check for Faulty Ports:
      • To check if your audio ports are functioning correctly, you can try connecting another set of headphones or speakers to the same port. If those devices work, then your original headphones may be the issue.
      • You can also check the sound settings in Windows by right-clicking the sound icon in the taskbar and selecting Open Sound settings. Ensure the correct output device is selected.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be worth checking for any driver updates for your audio devices or consulting with Microsoft Support again for further assistance.
