    Hi @s k

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding your issue, I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you are working as a designer and saving the same file frequently. When you edit and save a PSD, Windows 11 File Explorer may keep showing the old file list in other tabs until a refresh is triggered. This can happen if Explorer isn’t detecting the change event across all open Explorer instances or tabs, so it doesn’t re-render the directory contents automatically.

Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Reset File Explorer Options
    • Open File Explorer.
    • Click the three dots (...) at the top and select Options.
    • User's image
    • In the General tab, click Restore Defaults.
    • User's image
    • Switch to the View tab and click Restore Defaults.
    • User's image
    • Click Apply and OK.
    1. Clear File Explorer History
    • Go back to File Explorer Options
    • Under the General tab, find the Privacy section.
    • Click the Clear button next to "Clear File Explorer history."
    • User's image
    • Uncheck "Show recently used files" if you don't need them; this often speeds up the refresh rate.
    1. Change the folder View
    • Open File Explorer.
    • Click the three dots (⋯) on the top command bar.
    • Select Options.
    • In the Folder Options window, open the View tab.
    • Under Navigation pane, check Expand to open folder.
    • User's image
    • Click OK to save the changes.
    • Restart File Explorer for the setting to take effect.

Hopefully it will help work with your issue and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
