Hi, Coming directly to the issue, my Bluetooth adapter is not detected after upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10. Kindly let me know if any specific driver needs to be installed separately. I am using Intel-based Macbook Air and using Windows through Bootcamp. Kindly provide the proper solution to it.

After upgrading to Windows 11, it is common for Bluetooth adapters to not be detected due to driver issues. Windows 11 does not migrate existing Bluetooth drivers from previous versions, so you may need to install specific drivers for your Intel Bluetooth adapter. You can check for updated drivers through Windows Update by following these steps:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Update & Security.
    3. Click on Windows Update and select Check for updates.

If the Bluetooth adapter is still not detected, you may need to visit the Intel website or your device manufacturer's site to download the latest Bluetooth drivers compatible with Windows 11. Additionally, ensure that your Bootcamp drivers are up to date, as they can also affect hardware functionality.

After upgrading to Windows 11, which is essentially installing a new operating system, you may need to install some drivers for your hardware, for that Bluetooth Adapter, the best option is to go to the support page for that adapter on the manufacturers website to download and install the latest version of the drivers they provide for that device.

    Hi Vaibhav Patil,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

Bases on the information I have found, Apple does not officially document Boot Camp support for Windows 11 (Apple’s Boot Camp documentation covers Windows 10). As a result, if you install or upgrade to Windows 11 via Boot Camp, you may encounter driver issues (e.g., Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi) that require reinstalling Apple’s Windows Support Software. Please contact Apple or your bootcamp provider to update bootcamp to be compatible with Windows 11.

In the meantime, you may try updating the driver manually on Device Manager. Please refer to this article: Update drivers through Device Manager in Windows - Microsoft Support.

Or if you use brigadier bootcamp, you may try a workaround that does not run the brigadier.exe directly, but run it by using Command Prompt (Run as Administrator): brigadier.exe -i -k

I hope that above information is helpful to you.
