I am hot sure if I have Classic Outlook for Windows or New Outlook for Windows.

I am trying to find a setting the change the DEFAULT setting for the Delivery Option Do Not Delivery before. Currently, the default time is 5:00 PM. I want to change the Default TIME. I tried to follow information that I found, however, the answers seem to reference one time only.

    Hi @Karen Lawton

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.

To identify whether if you have Classic or New Outlook, you can look at the icons. On the left will be Classic and the other one is New Outlook.

Currently, there is no direct setting in Outlook to change the default time for the "Do Not Deliver Before" option. This option defaults to 5:00 PM, and users typically have to manually set the desired delivery time each time they schedule an email for delayed delivery.

If you are using Classic Outlook for Windows, you can set the delivery time for individual messages by going to the Options tab and selecting Delay Delivery. However, this does not change the default time for future messages.

For users of the new Outlook, the same limitation applies, and you will need to set the delivery time manually for each message as well.

If you are looking for a way to automate this process or set a different default, you may need to explore third-party add-ins or scripts, as Outlook does not provide this functionality natively.

I delay the delivery time a lot. Is this something that would be considered for enhancement?
