    Hello,

I am an independent consultant and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

I'd be happy to help you further.

You can adjust it by going to the taskbar settings, then selecting Taskbar behavior, and scrolling down to Show Smaller Taskbar button. You can choose Always, When taskbar is full, or Never.

You can also adjust it by changing the scale or the Display Resolution of your computer. But this will change everything in your system.

To change the icon sizes in the taskbar to a smaller size, you can follow these steps:

    1. Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar.
    2. In the context menu, select Taskbar settings.
    3. Look for the option labeled Use small taskbar buttons and toggle it on. This will reduce the size of the icons in the taskbar.

If you want to change the size of the icons more generally, you can also adjust the display settings:

    1. Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
    2. Under Scale and layout, you can adjust the scaling percentage which affects the size of icons and text across the system.

These steps should help you achieve smaller icons in the taskbar.
