This morning I played around again with my settings. I tried a new W10 install but when rebooting got the message there was no system.
I then looked at the Boot Menu in my BIOS and selected what I thought looked like the right partition. To my surprise Windows started to install although the screens were nothing like what I have seen in the past.
Eventually the system rebooted and I now have W10 Pro running but it seems strange and I am not sure which partition is being used to boot from. I seem to have lost quite a few of my files, which is annoying and I have MS Money 2004 running but none of the data files will open which is the most annoying of all and will take be a long time to get back to normal.
The drive setup as shown by Macrium Reflect is below but which one will the system boot from??
I am also still getting timeout errors not only on my desktop but also on a new laptop I bought to use in recovery. This disproved that it is a hardware problem and is something I need to resolve as it is frustrating not knowing if a site will open.
I feel I should be happy but I have worries it will not be stable. For example XBOX doesn't work. I am going to hibernate the system for a couple of days but I will have to do a reboot at sometime.
