The bug check code 0x00000116 indicates a VIDEO_TDR_TIMEOUT_DETECTED error. This typically occurs when the graphics card or its driver fails to respond within a certain time frame, leading the operating system to assume that the graphics hardware has stopped functioning properly. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. You can do this through the Device Manager or by downloading the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.
    2. Check Hardware: Inspect the graphics card for any physical issues, such as overheating or improper seating in the PCI slot. If possible, test the card in another system.
    3. Run Hardware Diagnostics: Use any built-in diagnostics tools provided by your system manufacturer to check for hardware issues.
    4. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your operating system is fully updated, as updates can include important fixes for hardware compatibility.
    5. Adjust Power Settings: Sometimes, power settings can affect performance. Ensure that your power plan is set to High Performance in the Control Panel.
    6. Check for Overclocking: If you have overclocked your graphics card, consider reverting to the default settings to see if that resolves the issue.
    7. Use Safe Mode: Booting into Safe Mode can help you troubleshoot issues without loading third-party drivers.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, you may need to consider further diagnostics or professional assistance.

    Hi,

please check if there is a BIOS update. Try to re-seat graphic adapter with a careful contact cleaning. Clean GPU's cooling system from dust.

Download older driver from NVidia site and install it using DDU.
