This frustrating because I am not able to logon using my another outlook ID that has paid subscription. Your recovery system is too bad. It wont let me enter alternate email or phone, it says that they already are part of security question. What do you want me to do? Do you want me to create a new email or buy a phone subscription just to recover my outlook account?

After couple of tries it says that I ran out of number of attempts and I could retry after 24 hours. So frustrating.

There is no way to talk to representative. Your method to recover an account is SO BAD, questions doesn't make any sense at all.

If I am able to get validated against my alternate phone number or email address, why the hell I need to provide my previous password or email subject or email addresses I sent emails to for further verification. I HAVENT SENT ANY EMAIL USING MY ACCOUNT I AM RECOVERYING BECAUSE I AM USING IT TO GET CLOUD STORAGE ONLY. What should I enter for questions related to sent emails?

How come my password stopped working, I have no idea.

So frustrated, I am going to block further payments because Microsoft were not able to provide adequate support to recover my account.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

If I may ask, have you forgotten your account's password by any chance?

If not, may I have the exact error messages when signing in?

Do you have access to the security information/verification methods, email, or phone number linked to the account?

Since you mentioned this: "If I am able to get validated against my alternate phone number or email address"

Just to confirm, do you mean you receive an error message when resetting your password using your verification methods? If yes, may I have the exact error message please?

Do you see any unfamiliar email addresses/phone numbers upon signing in to your account?

Did you have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account? If yes, are you able to access the second factor of authentication?

Also, do you still have the 25-character recovery codes for 2FA?

Lastly, may I know when was the last time you successfully signed in to your Microsoft account?

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
