How do I remove my email address from public view to avoid scam emails?

    I understand how serious this is, especially since it involves extortion.

    Forward the emails with full headers to abuse @outlook.com (I put space between the address as it will be block here) for Microsoft/Hotmail accounts and to Google similar abuse email address (or Google’s abuse reporting tools) for Gmail accounts under Microsoft and Google.

    Please also report this to your local police or file a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) for proper investigation and action.

    Do not engage with the senders. Save all messages as evidence and secure affected accounts by changing passwords and enabling security options.
