To resolve the issues you're experiencing with installing Microsoft 365 on your desktop, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Your License: Ensure that you are signed in with your university account and that you have a valid license assigned. If you are unsure, contact your university's IT support for assistance.
    2. Uninstall and Reinstall Microsoft 365: Use the Microsoft 365 Uninstall troubleshooter to remove any existing installations of Microsoft 365. After uninstalling, restart your device and then reinstall the correct version of Microsoft 365.
    3. Repair Microsoft 365: If you can access the apps but are facing issues, try repairing Microsoft 365. You can do this through the Control Panel by selecting 'Programs and Features', finding Microsoft 365, and choosing the repair option.
    4. Run the Microsoft 365 Sign-in Troubleshooter: This tool can help resolve sign-in issues that may be preventing you from accessing the apps. You can find it in the Get Help app.
    5. Update Microsoft 365: Ensure that your Microsoft 365 apps are up to date. Open any Microsoft 365 app, go to File > Account, and check for updates under Update Options.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, consider reaching out to your university's IT support for further assistance.

    Hello

What do you mean exactly by it is not allowing you? Did you have log in issue, or it won't stay open, or it says you need license? Please be more specific and include any exact error message if any.
