Dear @Eliese Besemer,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum. I am happy to assist.
If you are using a business or school account provided by your organization, please contact your IT or admin team and request that they reset the MFA methods for the affected users.
Below is a step-by-step solution tailored for your IT admin to follow to reset MFA for your account
- Navigate to Microsoft 365 Admin Center, you can click Identity at the sidebar.
Microsoft 365 Admin Center website: Microsoft 365 admin center

It will lead you to Microsoft Entra Admin Center
Next Select Users > Click All users
Click on to the affected account name (your account)
For example:

- Select "Authentication Methods"
- Click "Require re-register multifactor authentication"

Next time the user sign in, the system will require them to set up a new authentication method. By using this, the affected user can re-set up the right authentication method.
If you're an admin, please check to see if there are other IT admins in your organization who can help you with the reset.
If you're the only admin, in this situation, the Microsoft Data Protection team has tools and processes in place to verify identity and regain access to administrator accounts.
Please note that forum moderators have no control over user accounts, especially when it comes to logging in to your account, resetting your password, changing your access, etc.
Therefore, if you are the only administrator in your organization, then you need to involve Microsoft data protection team. Please try to find the related hotline number to call the frontline let them raise a ticket for you: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support (Scroll down for Business users)
In some countries, this is an automated conversation: First, when you call the hotline, they will ask you what kind of problem you are struggling with.

During peak hours, there might be high call volumes, so we kindly ask for your patience as we work to assist everyone as quickly as possible
