Why Bangla text converts to Hindi in Snipping tools Text Extract after recent update on Windows 11

Question

I am facing problem with the Snipping tools Text Extract feature. When I copy and paste the text, then it converts Bangla text to Hindi, why?

Please make sure that you have already installed Bangla language pack along with its additional features, including OCR (Optical Character Recognition).

• Update Language Packs:
  • Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region.
  • Check for Bangla (Bengali) and ensure features like "Basic typing" and "OCR" are installed.
  • Add optional features if needed (Settings > Apps > Optional Features > Add a feature, search for "Bangla" or "OCR").
• Update Snipping Tool:
  • Open the Microsoft Store, search for "Snipping Tool," and update the app if an update is available.
• Scan your system for corrupt files using these commands in Command Prompt (Run as Administrator):

     DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
     sfc /scannow
  

If the problem persists, please contact Microsoft to improve Bangla language recognition.
