I have regularly imported SVG files into powerpoint and converted them to shapes that are then editable in previous versions of powerpoint. However, after updating to version 2511 (powerpoint 2025/2026) this feature is no longer visible in the top left corner of the graphics format menu or when I right click on the graphic. Is this feature still available? Is there a new way of accessing it?

I'm not seeing any such issue in PowerPoint Version 2511 (Build 19426.20218 Click-to-Run). SVGs ungroup as always.

To fix the error in your installation, please run an Office Repair. The Online Repair option is more thorough.

Seems the feature was removed in PowerPoint 2511+

I would suggest to submit a feedback directly inside PowerPoint

This routes feedback straight to the PowerPoint product team.

    Steps

    • Open PowerPoint
    • Click Help (or File → Feedback, depending on layout)
    • Select Send Feedback
    • Choose I have a suggestion (not “problem”)
    • Paste your feedback
    • Attach your SVG sample if possible
    • Submit

This is the highest-priority channel internally.
