BSoD related to kernal security, want to narrow down issue

Hello all. My computer encountered BSoD twice today, both times after a shut down and rebooting. I managed to locate the dmp files for both and uploaded them below.

One of them is a kernel_security_check_failure (139) and the other is secure_kernel_error (18b). What I'd like to know:

  • Is it possible to narrow down what specifically is causing these? I've seen some other post narrowing down to RAM or graphic card, but I have no idea how
  • Are these two errors the same? How bad are they?
  • Would a new fresh install of Windows 11 be a good call while my laptop is still working?
  • Should I update my computer to a new windows 11 update?

I have tried both Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and sfc /scannow and checked the logs. Don't think anything was repaired

Solved: another tech support page identified the problem as missing chipset drivers and a very old OS update version Reinstalling now

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

As per checking and analyzing the event logs, there is an error securekernelerror, which is a file system error on the PC. Since you have done an SFC scan and are still having an issue, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade, wherein it will update the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link:
