Hi everyone.

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 17 Pro Max and about two weeks ago, I saw an account error in my mail app.
So, I went into Settings like I usually do and went to 'Apps', 'Mail', and proceeded to try to re-enter my password to start back receiving emails.

However, after putting in my email address and password, I received an error as shown below:

"Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in.

AADSTS165000: Invalid Request: The user session context is missing. One or more of the user context values (cookies; form fields; headers) were not supplied, every request must include these values and maintain them across a complete single user flow. The request did not return all of the form fields. Failure Reasons:[Missing session context cookie;Token is invalid;]

I have also downloaded the Outlook app and tried signing in there on my phone but I'm getting the same error repeatedly.

I saw in another forum that they said to try clearing your browsing history which didn't help resolve the issue.

I tried signing in using a private browser and at first that was of no use, but I tried it today, a few minutes before typing this and it worked. I then tried it again using a normal Chrome browser and it worked there as well.

So I went back and tried in both the Mail and Outlook apps but same sign in error comes up as shown above.

I tried everything I can think of; removing the account from my Mail app and adding it again; updating the app, reinstalling the app, updating my phone and to no use.

I am all out of options so at this point, any assistance/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You guys wouldn't believe what the issue was.

My time and date wasn't set automatically because I recently traveled and had a time difference. So the automatic option was off. Switched it back on and got to log in with no issues!
