The context does not provide any specific information regarding the implementation of Aero in Windows 11 or any future versions like 26H2. Aero was a feature in previous versions of Windows, primarily known for its visual effects and glass-like interface. However, Microsoft has not indicated any plans to reintroduce Aero in Windows 11 or its upcoming versions. The focus of Windows 11 appears to be on enhancing productivity and supporting modern work environments rather than reverting to previous visual styles.

If you are looking for similar visual effects, you might want to explore third-party applications or themes that can mimic those styles, but these would not be official Microsoft features.

    Dear عمر العوض

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Community. I understand you are asking whether Microsoft will bring back the Windows 7 “Aero Glass” look in Windows 11 (including version 26H2), and what the most practical alternatives are. I am happy to assist you.

Unfortunately, Windows 11 does not currently provide an official “Aero Glass” theme like Windows 7 .There is no documentation confirming that Aero Glass will return in any specific future release, including 26H2.

What Windows 11 does offer are Transparency effects (acrylic-style blur) and personalization options for colors and themes, which are the closest supported other option that you can try (If you want to try it please follow the steps below):

    Step 1: Enable Transparency effects

    • Go to Settings > Personalization > Colors
    • Turn ON Transparency effects

Step 2: Check Accessibility visual effects

    • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Visual effects
    • Ensure Transparency effects is ON
    • Optionally, turn ON Animation effects for smoother transitions

Step 3: Adjust theme and accent colors

    • Go to Settings > Personalization > Colors
    • Choose Light or Dark mode
    • Select an Accent color to mimic the darker Aero-era look when combined with transparency

If you would like Microsoft to consider bringing back Aero Glass, please request UI features  through Feedback Hub:
