From within MS Teams, can we search documents on OneDrive and SharePoint? How?

Hi @frob ,

The search feature for files in Teams could only search for files in Recent( recently shared ):

You can see these in Files page from the left menu:

To search these files, you could use /files in the search box:

But for the downloaded files or files in a channel, you can't directly search for them. You should open the download folder or open the SharePoint site to search these files. Also, OneDrive files can't be searched in Teams, you should open in OneDrive to do so.

from the main page, you can use the search bar.

after the search item you get three options, messages, users and files
And in left menu you see the content

Know the team, then open this, go to files and use the option open in sharepont
left click on "home" and then use the search bar above
