Do the following: uninstall MSI Afterburner using Revo Uninstaller and delete the folders and registry entries.
Then, use the Microsoft Fix it application to completely uninstall Visual C++ after uninstallation.
Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.
Reinstall using Visual C++ AIO. After downloading, extract the install.bat file, right-click, and run as administrator.

2026-01-14T19:24:17.5633333+00:00 Hi Saul B,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.Do you have this issue with fresh install of Windows 11 and only install very necessary drivers? Or do you have this issue in Safe Mode?
This issue is often caused by applications conflicted. Sometimes update RTSS (Rivatuner Statistics Server - bundled with MSI Afterburner) may fix the issue too.
You may try to uninstall some unnecessary applications to see which one caused the confliction.
If above suggestions cannot help, please navigate to official MSI Afterburner support page to reach for further assistance.
I hope that you will manage to resolve it soon.
