I cannot sign in to my LinkedIn account, so I CANNOT contact LinkedIn support.

I know that my tag and child tag don't make any sense, but I couldn't find options that did make sense. PLEASE DON'T tell me that I need to contact LinkedIn directly because without being able to log in (which I CANNOT do), I CANNOT access their support.

I went to LinkedIn to login because there was an alert (from Aura) that my email and password may have been hacked. The date on the alert was from 4/2016 (9.5 years ago). I'm retired so I just want to delete my account to avoid any other security issues. I enter my email and click on "Forgot Password". The message said an email will be sent to the email address, which is valid. I checked my spam folder as well and never got an email. I'm wondering if my account is inactive or has been hacked. If it is inactive, how can I ensure that my personal data has been deleted?
