4. Was the file deleted manually, or did you notice it missing after syncing?
5. Do you still see the file name, or is it completely gone?

In the meantime, please try steps below:

Step 1: Check OneDrive Recycle Bin

If the file was saved in OneDrive:

• Go to https://onedrive.live.com (for personal account) or https://www.office.com (business account)
• Open OneDrive
• Select Recycle bin
• Look for the deleted file and choose Restore

if you are using business account, you can check the second stage bin

Step 2: Check Version History

If the file still exists but content was replaced:

Right‑click the file in OneDrive or SharePoint

Select Version history

Restore an earlier version

Step 3: Check Windows Recycle Bin

If the file was saved locally on your computer:

• Open Recycle Bin on your desktop
• Look for the file and restore it
